Poetry – Outcast

doll-87407_960_720

living as an outcast
in the bitter cold
fully exposed
with no one to hold
i was born alone
i had to grow
with no one around
inside i’m shattered
knowing i
never mattered
hear me cry
as i pray for a home
someone to take me in
to be known
to be embraced
for who i am

Poem – Leaving You

blackrose.jpg

Our love faded away
As days passed by
I wish it stayed
I don’t understand why
It had to be this way
When I gave you my hand
My head in disarray
As I leave you behind

Micro Poetry- Days I Felt Alright

books-1428423_960_720

Trying to remember the days when I felt alright

It was before we met and I gave you my life

Although when he first touched I thought you were only mine

I believed you were flawless until I figured out your lies

Sad Poetry – Let Me Fall

coldground

Let me fall to the cold ground

Let me make my final sound

Let me drain onto the floor

I don’t want to live like this any more…

Poetry – Starving For Attention

shatteredlove
i am starving for your attention
as i am sitting here ignored
i forgot what it felt like
to be noticed by you
or even hear your voice
the way you used to sound
when you told me
you will always be there
you decided to build a wall
and you don’t seem
to want to break it down
when all i want is for you to fall
back into my arms
and whisper the words you
used to share from your heart
your silence does more harm
than you will ever know
tearing me apart every second
feeling as if i am a ghost
in the house that we built
what hurts the most is that
you don’t even seem concerned.

Poem – She Painted Her Face

colordarkface

She painted her face

To hide the pain

She had hidden behind

Her emerald eyes

You couldn’t tell

She was crying inside

With the colors she wore

To mask her true despair

This Pain I Have — Micro Poetry

iamamess

I am a mess

Full of stress

Wishing I was

Someone else

Hard to breathe

I want to leave

Need to release

The pain I have

Within myself

A Girl Named Dread

depositphotos_184039434-stock-video-group-teenagers-walking-school-hallway

They gave her the nickname “Dread”
Because when she walked the halls
She looked completely dead
Her eyes were black and empty
Her sweater wet from tears
She begged and pleaded
For them to stop whispering
About every move she made
She cut holes on her long sleeves
To place around her thumb
To hide the injuries up and down her arm
She knew how to deny her sadness
She walked with a fake smile
No one knew she was planning
An escape from life
She wrote her last words down on a brick
Outside by her childhood tree house
Stating that she was just tired of pretending
That she wasn’t torn apart
She wrote that she decided to turn to dust
To finally feel like she was part of the Earth.
